Google Releases Penguin 3.0 Update

Every time Google releases a new Penguin Update, it’s time to say goodbye to your spammy link building strategies. Now this won’t come surprising for websites if they see a considerable shift in rankings within the next few weeks. And the good news is that a number of publishers seem to be happy with this new refresh. Well folks, like it or not, it’s finally the time to greet Penguin 3.0!

Though not officially enumerated by Google, yet the latest Penguin Release is called 3.0 owing to a large gap since the last release. The algorithm update took place on 17th of October and the rolling is said to be in the process and hence it is assumed that the impact is going to be felt very soon. Though the Penguin 3.0 does not seem to be hitting very hard, yet since there is a refresh now, it may lead to ‘dotting of several Is and crossing of several Ts’ by the next month.

Well, the websites those were hit by Penguin during the last update that took place on Oct 4 2013 may look forward to witness the results of their tweaks over a year. Yet, if you have disavowed bad links within the last three weeks, it’s too late see an improvement now. Anyways from what Google’s Webmaster Trend Setter and Search Quality Engineer says that now since the new algorithm is in place, the refreshes will take place more often. Moreover, from what the sources say, it is very clear that this time Google is looking at making the users as well as the Webmasters task pretty easier.

Penguin 3.0 may leave people in dilemma until it is fully rolled out. We will keep you posted about any major changes witnessed as a result of this new algorithm update.
