Diane Bryant who had joined Google as the COO of Cloud has called it quite from her position. She was the former head of the data center group of Intel formally.

Her leaving of Intel and joining Google was also very abrupt. Google announced her joining while she was on leave from Intel in November 2017. The search engine giant saw a small amount of market rise and revenue growth during her tenure of 7 months.

A spokesperson from Google informed to the media: “We can confirm that Diane Bryant is no longer with Google. We are grateful for the contributions she made while at Google and we wish her the best in her next pursuit.”

Previously, Diane Greene, the CEO of Google Cloud showered appreciation for her colleague; “Diane’s strategic acumen, technical knowledge and client focus will prove invaluable as we accelerate the scale and reach of Google Cloud.

As per the latest news, Intel is looking for a new CEO and it is Bryant who ‘definitely fit the bill’. According to the trend, Intel always recruits an insider for the senior position which justifies the move of Bryant.
